Charis Alicia Roberts
Charis was born September 13, 1985. Yes, it was a Friday! She is now 19 and has graduated high school!
She started the Court Reporting Institute in Dallas on January 5th, and works at Aeropostale.

Charis suddenly had a heart attack on April 2, 2002. She had an emergency double by-pass that night. It was
unsuccessful. Her heart was damaged 85%, so she was flown to Dallas to St. Paul Medical Center where she was placed
on the transplant list within 5 hours. 10 amazing days later, she received her transplant. I am writing her story
in detail under "Miracle Girl Story". We have been in contact with the donor family.

This is Charis on the left, and Kimee on the right. Kimee is the donor's sister. Kimee stayed with us for
3 days this summer.
